This shortbread is really delicious and super easy. Its from Jamie Oliver’s 5 Ingredient cookbook. I left the chocolate out and reduced the butter. The result was a tangy shortbread.
200g Cake Flour
50g Castor sugar, extra for sprinkling
100g Butter, softened
Oven temp is 190°.
Sieve in the flour and sugar, add the softened butter and zest of half an orange.
With your fingers, gently rub all the ingredients together.
Place in a buttered 20cm dish with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle extra sugar over. Cut into slices.
